About me

I am a physicist with a university diploma and I have been working in the high-tech industry for more than twenty years now. I started as a software development engineer with Siemens and since the year 2000 I am a freelance IT consultant. My focus is in the areas of software development, system testing and system integration. During the last decade I participated in several international projects with network equipment manufacturers and network operators. Especially since the mid-2000 years the notion of VoIP has become ever more prevalent and I worked in both of the two Next Generation Network projects designed to replace old telephony systems with new VoIP technology on a national scale in Germany. The work in either project entailed software development, system testing and system integration, the latter especially relevant to the IMS project.
